I have some decoys that I have been using. They work but im not sure which ones to put out i have a feeding hen and a jake also another hen with her head up this one is quite a bit larger than the rest. I had 2 Jakes walk in on me and one looked at the feeding hen and jake decoy and started to flap its wings while the other one came in for a look the one that was flapping had about a 2 inch beard while the other one had about a 4 inch beard. On another hunt I put out the feeding hen in a position that she was about 4inches off the ground and had the lookout hen about 10 yards away while the jake was about 6 yards behind the breeding hen. Had a bird walk in on me that i didnt get to see but I heard it flap its wings like the jake did the day prior. I just really wanted yalls input to help me get #1 down

I've never used them, so I can't offer specific decoy advice. They don't fit my style of hunting. Are you a greenfield hunter or do you move around a lot?

Only time I use them is if we're bowhunting and I need them in one spot.
Other than that they have hurt more than helped.
Never tried fanning one though.

I usually hunt in the woods wherever I see sign but it's only been 3 times and I've seen 7 turkeys in all zoo I guess I'm not doing so bad
