Totally would not recommend it! Got on one in a cutover this morning and watched him strut for 45 minutes. When I got aggressive he walked away! And no hens! Went back at 4:15 and bumped him in the log road, he walked fast, then ran, but never flew. I backtracked and circled around and setup where I expected him to head to roost. Made a couple of calls about 5:30 and a few minutes later a hen appeared about 100 yards out yelping softly. A few minutes later he stepped into the log road. I clucked softly and it took him 15 minutes of strutting, standing and staring til he got in the clear at 30 steps. Absolutely do not hunt in the afternoon, it's awful! Lol
