They had a little basket there to catch the head so that it didn’t just roll out into the crowd I believe. Assuming that you’re using a good sharp blade with the proper weight behind it……the guillotine is the quickest way of doing the job according to the show I watched. The person probably doesn’t even have time for it to register to the brain that anything happened. The brain I still capable of seeing, hearing and feeling for about 7 seconds after a decapitation. Best way to do it with no cruelty argument is put them to sleep like going to surgery and then remove the head. Glad I wasnt part of that study group
