Heard that Birmingham Water Works has reopened Inland. Does anybody know if the Allgood ramp is open?

Havent fished Inland since I was a kid. They close it due to a draw down?

No. They were working on the floating piers at the dam. They don't draw Inland down in the winter like other lakes in the area (Logan Martin etc.). The water had been way down on account of the drought. When the water gets down below a certain point (basically off the ramp at the dam) they close the lake. The Allgood side, being on the shallow end closes first.

Yes.. early spring bite is always good. May put 20-30 in the boat myself but none to brag home to mom about.

Fish it fast and deep. 10-12' crankbait will usually put them in the boat. I usually catch the bigger one pitching a jig into downed trees in deeper water or a texas rigged kudzu lizard thrown right against the rock walls and just let it sink...

Inland is my favorite lake to fish, its just tough at times

I have a buddy that used to live in Remlap. We fished it quite a bit years ago. Never cared too much for it.
