Unless Toyota has made significant improvements, the RAV4 is a complete piece of shucks.

I don't want an SUV.
Tires are more expensive.

If you get a Hyundai make sure you factor in rental car costs for when it's in the shop. There's a reason they have a good warranty plan.

Hyundai and Kia is made by same company right? If I were you I would just get a Prius or similar, that way you are getting a nice check for mileage every month.

Definitely go with Toyota. They last for ever. Maybe even a Honda. Avoid GM.

I've owned 4 Toyota's trucks and put over 300,000 miles on the first 2 and sold them for close to what I paid for them.
They were both normal maintenance vehicles no issues at all
The two I currently own one has over 200,000 and normal maint on it and the other is new

When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself
The older I get the better I used to be

Something like this would be really good...though I am still not sure if I could take myself seriously in a Prius.

To answer your earlier question my wife talked them down to about 9 dollars a month for sattelite radio after hers ran out on the new car. I think full price is around 16 a month. It's billed yearly and she has to call every year and renegotiate. It's worth it if you drive a lot though.

I'm paying about $5 a month including tax for a basic package.
