I'd say an 8. I killed a full velvet cull buck with my bow and 2 does. I also killed 2 nice 8 points with my rifle.

I didn't give it a 10 but my daughter didn't get one this year. She had a few opportunities at does but was waiting on a big one (she's killed a few in the past already, her decision to hold off not mine!)

10/10- Kkilled my 2 target bucks, both over120". I killed a 9 pt (technically a 10 pt with the 1"+ sticker on the base) on opening day of bow season and a wide 8pt during the rut, that I had passed on several times last year. The only thing that would have made it better is if I had gotten to hunt with my son more. He is in college and also works. I saw at least 25 different bucks, which is down from the last 2 years where I saw around 40 different bucks. Clearcutting caused me to abandon my best spot for the last 1.5 months of the season, so that is part of the reason. Great season for me.

Didn't get to hunt but1 day. Have to make it up during turkey season and next year. First year I didn't get to bow hunt. Just couldn't get away due to business and expansion. 0 because I barely got to go.

10. We had three young hunters kill their first deer this year. Sighting were down but I managed to kill 2 decent bucks. The first I've shot in 3 or 4 years.

7,saw alot of deer in bow season, lost a deer that I shot with my bow,it was a nice six point it bleed like you turned on a water facet for a 100 yards,it crossed a powerline and got into a swamp and could not find it.I looked for 3 days for that deer.but anyway when gun season started all the deer stayed in hideing before Christmas was terrible. But finally turned around on Dec 28 I killed a decent 9 point then January 11 I kiied my biggest deer to this date it had a 19 inch inside spread with alot of mass. I give it a 7 because lack of sightings during the rut.the 2 bucks I killed I was in the right place at the right time.

10.1 My son and I killed a few bucks and enough does to go with them to get the freezer full, but that part is irrelevant. I had the pleasure of hunting with him and my daughter all season. We had a great time, were healthy and safe, and have some priceless memories.
