I shot a doe hauling ass at 250 yards once with a .270 and 140gr. Hornady BTSP. I aimed at the tip of her nose and hit her through the neck.  My crosshairs were moving right in front to right behind her neck , probably a few inches below her head. Just trying to stay up with a deer running that far away was hard enough. I luckily made a connection. It was a god given birthday miracle. Wow! Just Wow! Well happy birthday I guess.  Thank you.
