Had this guy show up over the last week. Hoping to get a crack at him next weekend. If not, maybe he will hang around till next year.

Me guess on age was 6+. I believe he is gonna be a tough ole codger to kill. Closest to daylight in front of that camera is 6:47

?????? Pretty sure he will be over 120". My buck I killed last year didnt have that kind of tine length or brow tines and he was just under 120"

My guess is that deer ain't seen 100" since July. Bad angle but comparing antler size to the size of the deer's head, I would guess Lefthorn is cutting him a little short assuming a 17" - 18" spread.

I think the two guesses so far are way off. That deer is definitely over 100" but there's no way in hell that deer scores 140" as a mainframe 8 with average tine length. Based off of that one picture, I feel comfortable saying that deer will score around 120-125". Great buck and definitely one to be proud of if you outsmart that ole boy and kill him.

From one side view, it will be difficult to accurately estimate the score of this deer. As a point of reference, from the center of the eye to the end of the nose is about 8" long, so I used that to get my measurements.

Here's what I'm thinking and I tried to guess the very top score. Actually, this was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be:

Main beams = 22-24 Inches
G1 = 6"
G2 = 9"
G3 = 7"

H1 = 4.5"
H2 = 4"
H3 = 3.5"
H4 = 3"

That total would be 118 to 122 PLUS the unknown spread. So, for a 16" spread, that would push his totals to 134 to 138. Of course, an 18" spread would push it to 140".

This does NOT look like a mid 130's to 140" deer to me at first glance, actually, I was thinking around 120-125, maybe. But the size of his antlers compared to his body size shows that it is a VERY good deer.

Throw rocks at my estimate, cause I will too. Maybe his head is angled slightly and that would throw off my 8" reference, I don't know??? Still, my gut says it's not above 130. Also, it's hard to know how much mass it has. Regardless, it is a great deer.

115 - 125in - looking at his withers looks like he could possibly 5 or 6 years old - that kill would def be an accomplishment

No way that bucks comes anywhere close to 140. Solid 120 to 125 max. Great looking buck, big body, good mass, but nothing else "special enough" for him to even hit 130..
