Mortgages used to be 8, 9 up to 12 percent. They are currently at 4 %!
Excellent point...especially about "greedy bankers" being a progressive buzzword!
In the mid-late 70's, under Carter, mortgage rates were a lot higher than that!
...and mine right now is like 2.8%...it was acquired under GW.
