I've always had issue with the getting Bin Laden thing. I think there was a standing order and any president would "have got Bin Laden". I sure as hell hope he wanted to get him. Heck to hear him tell it he kicked in the door and double tapped him personally.

a lot of guns and ammo were bought  Sold a heck of a bunch of NRA memberships too. As posted earlier, he flipped Jackson County to Republican after 100 plus years of voting Dem.

He doesn't get the credit for Bin Laden IMO. As another poster stated, there was a standing capture/kill order on him when we found him. That was the product of countless hours of our intelligence people using assets on the ground (American and Middle Eastern assets) to find his location. It just so happened he was the POTUS who ok'd the operation. Nothing more. The credit goes to the CIA, their assets, and the SEALs

They dumped Bin Laden at sea so he'd be gone permanently. They wouldn't be able to use his body to build a shrine or something such as that.
Good plan in my opinion.
Obama gets no credit for anything to do with Bin Laden in my eyes. That was done by Americans in intelligence and other agencies who serve this country in spite of him and what he has done to gut their respective branches of service and make it harder to do their jobs.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
