Left Auburn and it was raining but I wasn't expecting it to be apocalyptic outside.
There was super heavy rain, standing water, trees down/falling and cars sliding off. I made it to Hogansville,GA, pulled off into a Loves and rode out the storm and headed back to Auburn. There was a Hogansville PD car that had gone off and rolled on 85.
Probably one the hairiest drives I've had. So you drove into the storm that blew through Lee County about 8:30ish? Away from would be more accurate but yes correct. Didn't realize to the extent of the storm, I thought it was mainly behind me.
