Just thinking out loud...CH16 closed at $3.64 today. Those things might hold a 100 bushel (56#). It takes an auger truck to fill it and 100 bushel isn't very much so freight will be high and the basis will be premium due to the small volume. Even at $1.00 basis which is probably on the low side your still paying $4.64/bushel. From what I have been told the machine is $40-50k. That's a lot of damn corn to get a return on investment. I'm with fur there ain't nothing on that setup that is going to hold up to running that much corn through it without breaking. I definitely don't claim to be smart but it doesn't pencil in my mind.

DCNR has put them in. Has you on camera buying it and then your tag. At least one kernel is really a GPS tracker. Makes that a much more profitable machine then. Kinda like robo-deer. 😁
