My kids are already playing "Bo the deer dog" at home, tracking each other around the house. That dog saved me from a poor shot, I owe him all the credit, no doubt. I forgot to tell Brian that I had to get my wife to meet me at the landowner's driveway to bring me my bow that morning. I had forgotten it, and she woke the kids up, threw them in the car, and drove over there to bring it to me. Lots of folks played a role in harvesting that deer. I was so fortunate to play a part in the process. Thanks for all the encouraging comments, I hunted this property cautiously, never pressured, only when the wind was right. It was 20 degrees and 6mph NE wind at 11am when I shot him.
