Dan was appointed to the CAB in 2001 or 2002, I think. Seems like it was about that time when he was appointed and became Chairman, replacing Mr. Hinton.

I believe turkey decoys and scopes on muzzleloaders were approved at the same time, in 2007. Not sure, but I think it was then. Crossbows may have been in that same timeframe, too. Lot of changes then, including the buck limits.

Dan wasn't leading the charge on all that.
