I've got a PSE Bowmadness XS. I haven't worried about noise since I've been shooting at foam. Now since Saturday morning is D-Day, I decided to try some string suppressors. I don't have a press and really don't want anyone screwing with my bow right now so I wanted something to use without a press.
Got some Monkey Tails today. Put them on the string, about 3 inches from the idler and just above the serving on the cam. I shot the bow, the arrow hit right where it should, there was no familiar string buzz which is good, BUT the bow about jumped out of my hand. The bow has had no hand shock, but while shooting today with the Monkey Tails, it kicked like a red mule.
Anyone got any ideas?
