Anyone watched the videos on Youtube of old Dick Proenneke building a cabin and living in Alaska all alone? Alaska Dream I've watched it probably 30 times. I absolutely love it.
Been here long enough to go from "bring 'da pain" to " bring 'da pain meds.

When I was in junior high (yeah, I'm that old) the school had a screening of that film in the auditorium one evening. It may have been something the Boy Scouts of America arranged.
Pretty cool stuff.
