haven't posted in a while. Been hunting pretty regularly. I killed an 8 last week, but got in hurry and didn't take the proper pictures for contest. He wasn't what I thought he was when I shot. I will be off from the 24th to the 5th so hopefully I will get another one.

I have a. Doe I haven't posted yet. Not a great pic. If I don't get another ill post it. Trying get a buck patterned. Starting to see the scrapes show up.

I still have a doe I need posted, just never got it up, but ill get it done soon. I've been struggling to find bucks. I see does pretty regularly now, but still have yet to see a buck I can shoot while hunting. I'm going to give it a rest (still hunt but just not as much) the next week or two and then hopefully the rut will be in.

I've seen several bucks on their feet the last few days. Trying to upgrade my 8 point.

The bucks are getting close in my neck of the woods. I'm ready to blast one at the camp

Got the first daylight pics of bucks this past week. Roads have buck tracks all in them. It's getting close in my area also. Saw a couple does this afternoon that didn't have their fawns with them.

I'll be able to get back out there this week, supposed to be kicking up around my lease. I'll be moving next weekend, so this week and beginning of next week are pretty much my last chance!

I have gotten 2. If it looks like we are in the running I will post them up.

Nice buck. Went this afternoon, had a small 5pt a couple of does and a spike come in. It's hopefully about to get good here. That's the 1st buck I've seen this year.

Got out the weekend between storms and had some good activity in the morning. Saw 8 yesterday morning, 4 does, 2 spikes and a small 8 and 1 I don't know what it was, just saw the body as it crossed. this week with the cooler temps should be good, Im going to try to go some in the afternoons, but will be there all day Friday for sure maybe Thursday and all weekend.

I've been but it was dead on my property this weekend. My brother kill a 200lb 8plus year old spike but that was the only thing we fired on. I'm try them this weekend and call it quits then I've got until February 15th around the house.
