Any tips on lift passes? That's about the last thing on the list aside from ski rentals. We are there for 5 days and only want to ski two, lift passes are only sold as daily or 3 day combos, the better buy being the 3 day. Not to mention the ski school for those that will be with us that have never skied before. One of the places that we stayed set up the skiing for us if I remember right so it was included. I would call the place that your staying and see if they can help you on the lift passes. Three of our group did ski school and enjoyed it. If the ones who havent skied before could make it to gatlinburg or somewhere close by before your trip to try skiing I would recommend that before going out there and skiing. If they cant make it around here before then I would recommend ski school.
