I work with guys that live out in Lawerence and Winston county and a lot of those home guys you just never hear about. I've had different people I work with show me pics of deer they knew people killed that were very nice. Some of them had killed multiple good deer. I had a guy looking for atv parts and we got to talking about hunting and he started showing pics of some he had killed on public land and he had several good ones and one stud. The genetics out that way are hard to beat. I've been hunting on the property we have in Morgan county for over 20 years and never seen pics or live deer to compare to the kind of deer coming out of those areas. After seeing the deer coming out of there lately its caused me to want to find a club out that way just for the possibility of a 150+

From what I understand that years ago when they stocked Alabama that is one of the areas that was stocked with Michigan strain deer. Free men aren't equal and equal men aren't free!
