As a Florida hunter, my non-res license costs $301.85, I think. That's NOTHING compared to the incidental expenses I have running my Alabama camps. I pay a wad of sales tax in addition to my leases, insurance, groceries, liquor, power, water, gas, you get the picture. And I don't split expenses with anybody, because I'm the dictator of my leases. So yes, you do have a valid point as it's not really about the license fees at all. And I don't mind so much, because right now it's fun to go to camp.

Then I've got the Florida camp expenses which pale in comparison because it's just a stone's throw from where I live.
