Anyone who honestly thinks this is anything other than a bobcat explains why there are so many reports of cougars. X2....this one is obvious

If it's a Bobcat it must be a different breed that I'm used to seeing on cameras in the East Central and West Central parts of Al and GA. Most of mine have ears that are more pointed and have little tufts that stick out of the tips. A regular house cat's ears are very similar as well without the ear tip hair. I would rule out any mountain lion but, maybe some cat family closer to the panther/puma type. I can't see the tail to be sure either. You might want to back the camera up some or turn down the illuminator so it's not so white washed out looking. Great catch regardless. [img:center] [/img] [img:center] [/img] MOUNTAIN LION / COUGAR

It's a cougar/ mountain lion whatever of the two it's called its definetly not a bobcat, I have seen a few in my times black and brown.
If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

It's a vague, washed out, somewhat feline shaped thing...pretty much all I can tell you in those pics.

What part of Covington co?
3 things that define what kind of person a man is: women, money, and deer

Most definitely a black panther! I've got a male and female here in cages that I've trapped this year. Just waiting for them to have kittens so I can start repopulating the Southeast.
I'm gonna train them to eat coons, possums and deer hunters!
