Bowhunting forum sure has thinned out since gun season opened. I'm set up in a pine thicket covered in honeysuckle, trails and beds. Thick is an understatement. Good luck y'all.

Set up in Cahaba on a ridge with hardwoods to my rear and my right. Had a coyote come in a 25 yards but he saw me before I could get ready for a shot.

Still here JD. Just don't post many LFTT's. None of my bucks are moving in daylight yet. I've already got a freezer full of meat so I haven't taken any more does. Have been watching a doe and fawn the past several evenings.

Good luck guys. I think I'm going to go back to bowhunting after Thanksgiving and the club clears up a bit. Everyone and their brother is at the club and its too crowded for me. I miss bow season....

I think once the doe days are over for rifle season, I'll be right back where I got my first with a bow. I want another.

The deer are moving this morning I've seen 8 so far had one right at 25 yards I drew back on her but she never stepped in the shooting lane. I've never shot a deer with a bow and that was the most excited I've been seeing a doe

Set up in some White Oaks on the National Forest this afternoon. This hiway is very noisy.

I'm here, hoping to see a deer. It's been slow for me lately.

Sit up on the outskirts of their sanctuary. Still some oaks dropping behind me.

Had a small 6 and 8 point feed through on acorns around 4:45. Needed another year, so he got a pass.
