Well my brother and I decided to deer hunt today instead of quail hunt. The wind ain't to bad for this spot I'm in. Powerline that's about 70 yards wide. Wind hitting me right in the face. Deer like to bed down on it because of how thick it is. Hopefully it will pay off today. Good luck to y'all this morning.

I'm setup in Crenshaw county and the wind just started blowing.

I decided to go with the slug today. To windy for me to try to bow hunt.

Set up on a ridge covered in white oak acorns and deer chit. If I run a Gold Tip through one in here it's gonna be hell getting it out. Screw it. I'll quarter it up and pack it out like an elk if I have to.

Just saw one slipping through about 50 yards out. Couldn't tell what it was.

Swaying in a loc on in a pine tree overlooking what's left of my small plot. Passed on a doe with spotted fawn here yesterday. My climbing sticks are making racket as the tree sways. Oh well
