I hate those damn Direct TV ads they mail you that look like a hand written letter or now its a Christmas card looking thing.
If they can't be honest with their advertising what the hell makes me think they will be honest with my service?

Wait till they pull money using the card on file without your approval. If you have ever used a credit card to pay your bill and when you disconnect they help themselves.
