Now that's thick! grin

Only place the hogs can get away from people anymore. It's real thick and then it gets impenetrable. I was 40 yards from that edge today. And now I have to go back cause I lost my phone somewhere. Only saw squirrels and chipmunks. 3 does were feeding on the side of the road when I cam out though. lol.

Congrats Hevi!

Enjoying the view from 20 ft up in a Baldwin county pine tree this pm. Sitting on a dried up food plot on the edge of a swamp. Wasn't here 10 mins when heard the neighbors yippie dog. Had 2 small does come running in the swamp behind me. Assuming the yippie dog stirred em up.

Congrats Hevi, should be some fine eating!

Me and Emmett are set up in the same spots as this morning. We keep seeing deer in here and haven't been busted yet. Sooner or later one will screw up. I'd love to see Emmett get him one with that new crossbow of his.

Back at the spot I saw a shooter at opening weekend. Haven't hunted it since. If he slips up again I'll be ready for him. Already heard a few white oak acorns drop around me.

Headed to a new spot where I knew a few oaks are. And a creek. Get about 100 yards out walking thru clear cut and something bolts and goes nuts and goes a blowing. Found a good trail of poo and a few big oaks. Considered backing out but screw it. Settled in finally.

Sitting in the end of a finger of hardwoods. Bedding area across the field from me, white oaks all around me, and the only water hole for a while about 200yds down the draw behind me. Fiancé is in her summit overlooking the far corner of the water hole.

Doe with 2 fawns right below my stand right at dark. Had another unidentifiable deer behind them. Way to dark to tell what it was by the time it came through. The cool temps at dark sure felt good. Got a few days off this week going to head to my other camp on Tuesday. Looking forward to the week.
