The internet and political correctness has helped the process. People can no longer have a peaceful discussion to explain opinions. Trolls from both sides will not allow it. Check out the article on Drudge about the Ohio Trump supporters receiving death threats and being warned not to go to any bars in their area.

Why the death threats? Because they were gay men.
Were the threats from bigoted southern rednecks(because you know all Whites from the south fit this mold) that know "them two boys are going straight to hell for their ways"??? Nope, they were from their own community for having the audacity to publicly support Trump and call themselves gay.
