When I first started calling I didn't have a clue about anything, did some reading and three years ago I started applying what I had read. Early season I do a young buck grunt, followed by very, very, light rattling. It has brought in numerous bucks, both young and old. Watch some youtube of young deer sparring and try to replicate it, even old bucks will come to see what's going on.
