I have a lot of friends who shoot Rage and I'm always impressed with the blood trails they leave. I shoot the NAP killzone which is very similar except the blade retention system seems to be better to me. No o-rings or bands.
I think there are trade offs to both. If it's slightly harder for the blades to open then you wonder if they slows down penetration on impact, whereas Rage doesn't have that extra resistance. I say shoot whatever you are confident with. Too many people blame broadheads for lost deer when it's most likely shot placement. Any broadhead on the market today is going to kill a deer if you hit it in the right spot.
