So... Second Season won't be doing any more work on bows now? That's what I understand. Spoke with them about two weeks ago and they encouraged me to bring anything in any time. Spend 10 seconds in there this morning being told their bow shop wasn't in operation anymore.

Drive to Nichols Outfitters in Pelham, AL. The guys in there are awesome. Id call to make sure they have the specific arrows you need, but they will set everything up in about 1 hr. They also have a range out back that you can fine tune things with if need be.

I and a few others I know have had similar issues....Shaw is the only person touching my bow anymore, although I'd guess he's probably about done working on them until after season.

There are 3 certainties in an uncertain world:

Best thing I did was start building my own arrows. A little of your time will save you the headache of waiting on someone else, and make you more self sufficient. Not to mention you only pay for the materials. I plan to do this once I switch over to carbon.

If they will fit over your arrows, the quik fletch wraps are $15 for 6 at academy. X2. I have not shot them, but I know a few guys that do and they have all been happy with them.

I'm shootin some arrows that I used quik fletch on before last season opened. No issues at all, and I use a WB rest these days.
