I have had a lease fall into my lap last minute to acquire and will likley have one spot open to fill to get the lease. It is on the Blount/ Etowah line, 300 acres. The land has not been hunted in 3-4 years. It's about 70/30 pines to hardwoods. We are starting this to provide a family environment to hunt and include our kids. 8 people on 300 acres plus family...wow you get about 20 acres per person. Only 35 acres per person if no family shows.

It's in a really good deer area too. I'd probably put this area up with Enon plantation in Bullock county. Probably 80 deer per square mile.
