I'm set up in a narrow hardwood hollow just off the edge of some planted pines (similar to an SMZ)...I heard some deer coming while I was pulling my bow up and they came out of the pines about 40 yards from me and started eating water oak acorns. It was a doe and two fawns. I watched them til I could finally see my pins and they were eating their way toward me the whole time. I drew when the doe was about 20 yards from me, but she never stopped walking til she was looking at me from 11 yards lol. She was quartering to me and I think I drilled her shoulder. I didn't get much penetration, but it looked good as she ran off.

I'm among the white oaks in the same tree i got a buck out of last year on this date. I hear turkeys yelling near the dry green field behind me. They wouldn't do that in April. 😡

Deer piled in on me as I was climbing this morning about 5:30. They had a total blowfest for about 5 mins. Seen 3 coons.
We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.
