It is my understanding that the Gokey brand was bought by Orvis about 20 years ago, and the Gokeys we see now aren't the equal to the reputation they built up over 50 years. I'm still wearing my 25 year old Russells, but they are awfully heavy. I'd get the nylon and leather Chippewas.
Used to be a lifeguard, until that blue kid got me fired.
