Heck yes! They make great fence post. The lighting can't kill it and it will give a D10 all it wants.
They are common down here for livestock. They provide shade low to the ground plus the long stickers on the limbs the cattle use to scratch for biting flies. Skwerls is the only thing I've ever seen will eat the orange. The sap in the orange could be used as a high strength industrial epoxy.
