I am wanting to pick up a harness and am thinking of a Muddy Magnum harness.
Does anyone here have any experience with one?
I'm not exactly set on that particular harness so I am very much open to suggestions.

I would suggest one without vest for when it is hot out and clip together straps at least for upper body. Is Muddy like that? Gorilla, HSS, and other name brands bought new from respectable retailers should be good. Had HSS Vest style with larger buckles which seemed a little bulky to me. Make sure to purchase "trauma relief straps", mentioned before on here and attaching or harness is basically useless due to after fall trauma. Plenty of those starting out at $20 or make your own out of straps and test. May want to find out if local emergency personal nearby are trained in "single rope pickoff" method if rescue is ever needed.

I love my hss elite but man it's hot during early season. It's great on into the season though cause it's a harness and a whole extra layer in one. Keeps you from having to wear so many layers when it's cold out.

I went to a set of spider bibs with the built in harness last Christmas for the end of the season and absolutely loved them. very comfortable and warm.

problem is I cant wear them until it gets cold. Will break back out the Gorilla G Tac until then. Its still pretty comfortable, but doesn't compare to the bibs.

Gorilla GTac Air........love it. I've owned the HSS Bowhunter and it was uncomfortable.

I know why folks say the HSS is hot in the early season, but I've never felt it was hot enough to offset the awesomeness of it! Actually, it's just not hot to me, but I'm sorta slender anyway. After wearing a HSS for so long now, I can't hunt without all the pockets anymore! LOL

If your harness is 20ish years old you need to get a new one. No chit.

I still rather use my old school Seat of the pants harness , I've purchased two HSS harness and sold both guess boils down to what works best for you , as long as you use a good one and actually use it
