What is minimum HP to pull this Snuffy? I've always read 20hp per bottom. Less in sandy soil.

An 8N Ford will pull that. Used one last weekend.

It depends on the soil. I sold a 2-bottom Massey-Ferguson trip foot plow because it would bring our Kubota 3130 to a dead stop if it hit a patch of hard packed red clay. If you're turning fields that have been worked a good bit, a tractor in the 30+ range may do fine. If you're trying to turn new ground or ground that was only disked in years past, it may take more HP.

I've pulled one of these for years with a ford 2000 and a long 55hp. It's all in how deep you want to turn and how you set it up. imo a 2 bottom is perfect for all small/mid tractors.

Can't believe this hasn't sold. I have one I pull with a 26 HP Yanmar, but its too much plow for using on extensively. I use it to break my garden, but I gear it down and go real slow and it works fine. I've pulled the same plow with a 45 and 52 HP tractor and both did a great job with it.
