What kind of scheldule does youre work offer? Found out we offer 6 weeks off, no pay, i like everythimg about it but the no pay part. Don't think that your workplace is being generous. That is the minimum they have to offer according to the federal Family Medical Leave Act (or something like that). That isn't optional for them. Many places will pay you if you have unused sick or vacation time. My wife's employer lets the other employees donate sick days to the new mothers also so they can continue to be paid through maternity leave.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
