Summer isn't over until September the 23rd. So I've never understood the rush folks have nowadays to end summer. It's like on July 5th summer is over. I swim until it's to damn cold to do so. Heck the pool water doesn't get nice and cool to enjoy until mid September. I never understood that either. They would close pools Labor Day in Orlando growing up and it star mid 80's through November. IMO it's Not so much a weather thing but a popularity things. Kids are back in school, holidays, are coming up, football is starting. There are at better things to do on Saturdays this time of year than the pool
