We have a Samsung LED at the refinery that has been on 24/7/365, other than power outtages for about 12 years now. Showing no signs of letting up, either.
Seriously...Samsung.

Best Buy has a good price on a good tv- Sharp, 65" $899.00 , Samsung has a lot of lawsuits against them, lots of problems on lots of their sets, my brother bought one 2 years ago one of the $2000.00 Samsungs went out last week, circuit board, so if you get a Samsung I wouldnt spend over $900.00 on one, but myself I would probally go with a Sharp. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/sharp-65-cla...p;skuId=4970100 The "Sharp" name will cease to exist in televisions sold in America very soon. They've sold out to Hisense due to struggling sales. Vizio has also been sold to LeEco.

Keep this in mind. If you buy at Costco you can return it at anytime before ninty days. So let's say tomorrow you buy a 55 inch because it's 400.00 dollars cheaper than the 65. Then black Friday rolls around and the 65 inch is now 200.00 dollars cheaper than the 55 when you bought it. Also I was told they will go on sale unadvertised this week for labor day and football season. Just have to stop by and check.

Actually,Taiwan based Foxconn, a huge manufacturer of Apple products, purchased a 66% stake in Sharp for $3.5 billion. Sharp is also a big supplier for Apple; thus the reason Foxconn made the purchase to leverage their position with Apple.

we have had an LG for a few years and it has been great so far. On the 3d stuff you would literally thing whatever you are watching is in the room with you.

we have had an LG for a few years and it has been great so far. On the 3d stuff you would literally thing whatever you are watching is in the room with you. We have an LG in the bedroom that has an outstanding picture. 3d capable, and yes, the 3d is great. I did have to replace the panel on it about a year or so ago, though. TV was about 5 or 6 years old at that point. The new panel was only about $100, and it was an easy fix. We discovered when we were tv shopping 6 months ago that LG is leading the pack technology-wise with their OLED technology. No one else has it at this time (commercially, at least) and the picture is phenomenal. If price would have not been a factor, I would have bought one without thinking twice. They are way too high for my tastes, though. I'm sure when other makers introduce the technology into their lineups, the price will adjust downward fairly quickly.
