I think it was a stipulation that you had to sign before moving in...if you didn't, I would guess that your contract is voided and someone else can take that appt...she signed it forsure so Idk if you refuse... they are really nice appartments and very poplular so they don't really have to worry about finding another tennant

I don't recall Saban announcing a starting QB prior to game day when there was competition for the job. We all knew McElroy was going to be the starter and AJ but the others all were game day or game week decisions. And I do not think Saban trots a true freshman onto the field in Dallas as the starter. He may have to resort to him but IMO he won't start the first game in a title defense year.

Anytime a team in the SEC starts a true freshman QB, it can mean only one of three things:
A. The kid is better than anybody's wildest expectations,
B. All the other QBs suck something terrible,
C. A combination of some A and some B

In this case, I think it is probably C, with leaning more towards A than B.

I think we'll see at least 2 qb's in the first game. I doubt that Hurts will start, but I think he's really good at the hurry-up style and they'll use that as part of their gameplan. It's gotta be a tough decision because USC is supposed to be really good team, can't use this as a tune-up

If he's good enough to start as a true freshman, under Saban, it'll make for a long few years for the Bama haters. Considering what they've been able to do with "average" QB's over the last few years, a true dual threat QB paired with Bama's defense is bad news for the rest of the country.

If they start Bateman I hope they pull him before he gets one of the other QB's in hole they cant get out of.

I heard a report yesterday from an insider that it hasn't been decided yet...guy said if Hurts has more practices like he did the other day, he has the job...said that the one who doesn't turn it over has the job is an understatement.. Said that every scout who has came an watched practice has said this Defense is the most talented since early 2000s Miami...but depth is a MAJOR concern with the coaches...also said that emmons and Jacobs (two freshman rbs) have been electric in the zone reed and if they learned to pass block decently, they will be awesome...

I think Batemans lack of hitting the deep ball will eventually cost him the job,I'm more surprised that Barnett hasn't took the job.I guess he has more kinks than expected.I really like the zip that Hurts has on the ball and no doubt is a good athlete to boot.
