Sometimes the shooter makes the difference. Not saying that's the case. But sometimes it takes a shooter a little bit to get use to the way the new gun shoots.

thats was me and my BPS 10ga years back when they first came out. i was missing ever thing . i shot at rolling tires off a hill top in the pasture till i got it right .

New Savage 220 with Remington AccuTips. Supposedly these two were made for each other, and other people brag about how well it does. This gun is all over the place, and so was my last gun with that same load. I am terribly unimpressed with these shells.


My 220F did same thing with the Remington Accutips.

Then I tried the Federal Trophy Copper in 275 grain 2 3/4 and they shoot like a rifle.

My 220F didn't like the Hornady SSTs either.

Go for the Trophy Copper.
