How about a skid steer with the bushhogg attachment ...i have a friend that has one he charges 100 a hour and can cover some serious ground in a hour . not sure if we have the same friend, but a buddy of mine has a skid steer with the cutter, and he charges around $100/hr. He works in the East-Central part of the state. PM me if anyone needs his services.

I knew a guy one time that had a bat wing bush hog that he rigged to run while the wings were up.
Made some exceptional roads through his place.

Keep the stuff sprayed and it becomes an non-issue unless it's overhanging limbs from big trees. What are you spraying?

Keep the stuff sprayed and it becomes an non-issue unless it's overhanging limbs from big trees. What are you spraying? A mixture of 1% gly and 1% 2,4D will kill most everything it touches. When sprayed on branches of larger trees, it seems to kill the branch, but does not kill the entire tree.

We have had good luck with a batwing bush hog and spraying. The batwing will reach out and cut back the small crap, usually privet.
Then I leave the boom on my sprayer vertical (like I am moving it between fields) and it will spray everything from ground level to about 10' up.
The sprayer is the key. If you can keep killing it back it is not that bad, but it is a never ending battle.
When I rebuilt my sprayer a couple of years ago I built a manifold so I can engage the left or right boom and the center section independently. I also have a 4th valve on it and attach a garden hose and have a wand. That is a pain to use tho cause I have to take the door off the tractor so I can ride along and spray stuff.
I love my country, but don't trust my government.

Sorry jlbuc10, I am up here in Indiana. I did find a place that rents them to for 1000 per day. They would drop off and pick up tractor with the Fecon. So you might check into rental places to. $1,000 could get you 10 day laborers for a day of work. I don't know which would be better, but that's a lot of money for a day.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpYE-14ynXkStart about 2:50 on the video. The guy driving is about a trainwreck but they'll cut it. I just got a 2nd one so I'll be running 2 tractors this next summer.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
