Wow! I'm glad I ran across this post! I grew up hunting there at Hollytree with my dad, my brother, uncles, and cousins. I remember being there in the early to early 80's, all the way up until the club lost the lease in the mid to late 90's.

I spent many a night in that old house listening to Virgil and Mr. Harris' stories. My dad is still alive and talks about them from time to time. I can't wait to show him that there was actually an article written about it.

Mr. Harris was from the Hartselle area. That's all I can remember, I'll find out more info from my dad.
