I worked with Virgil Saint on the Arsenal for over 10 years. He took me turkey hunting on his place behind the store several times. Very nice land, loads of turkey, deer, and rattlesnakes. We had to swim to get out of there once when it started pouring down rain. Luckily we had parked the truck before we got to where the river crossed under the drive. The Paint Rock can get out of it's banks in a hurry. Odd coincidence, we also worked with a guy named John Harris. He would be in his mid to late 40's I think. I could get you in contact with him if you want to give it a try. I'm not sure if he is related or not.
He never promised that the cross would not get heavy & the hill would not be hard to climb.
