Actually that's not one bit accurate.


They actually do charge a lot more than they have too to make up for the loss of free care.


Charged amount has no bearing on reimbursement amount. That is all I was saying. If you charge $100 or $1 million for a service, the insurance company will still pay the contracted amount.
