The dog severed both jugular veins and tore off the top of her skull.

I know people that say "it's all about how they're raised," but I ain't ever seen a labrador retriever tear someone to pieces.

I don't even want to click the link. I figure it's about a Pitt. people are apparently too stupid to understand what a dangerous breed they are. If it were up to me I would exterminate them off the face of the earth.

At one time I was dumb enough to defend them, thankfully I was brought to my senses and got rid of the dog.. a neighbor girl walked in the front door onto the back patio and the dog literally lunged inside the kennel thank god and slid it about 5 ft on the cement, that was when I said oh he'll no.. no telling what would have happened had it not been in the cage

The thread I started last month where the small kid was attacked at a yard sale by an unknown pit bull turned out to be a hoax.

The man that was with the kid during the attack was actually at a friends house with the kid, when his friends' pit bull attacked the child. The man was trying to protect his friend and the dog that was known to him.

An interview with that small child ultimately brought out the facts.

Since then, the dog has been put down and the guy is facing felony child endangerment charges.

I don't know what municipalities are going to do about these beasts, but I'm shooting any that come in my yard, whether they are on a leash or not.

My uncle has two labs that I wouldn't turn my back on. I have read temperament tests where labs have ranked in the top five breeds for aggression.

I find that hard to believe. Even then, while a lab might bite you, it's not likely to rip out your jugular.........

People in my neighborhood showed up with a new one the other day. It got out several times and then this sign showed up.

I'd like to see the test and what group administered the test.
Most likely some BS from pit apologist to try and legitimize the maulings.

There have been a few introduced into the neighborhood here but they never last very long. Something in the air I guess.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Sure wish you could bottle some of that air and sell it.

You can usually find it in the sporting goods store.

I'm not taking up for the dog but any dog can turn on you or be very protective of their space. I had a red nose that was scared of my dad's cat literally never harmed a fly probably because she would be scared of it. She was terrified of that cat to the point she'd pee and run tail tucked if the cat hissed at it. Now on the other hand I've had heelers(one red one blue one both males) that would rip you a new hole if you got out of your car before I got out of the house, those two were mean as snake. Another healer I had which was female wasn't AS aggressive and the two Australian Shepard I currently have now one will bite first ask questions later and never bark or growl at you, most of the time she's wagging her nub right before she she gets that hair stood up and bites down she's 2yr old, the other will raise hell barking and growling but never bites she's 10yr old. Most UPS men are very deceived by these two

A lot of dogs will bite you and a lot of dogs are aggressive. That's not the point. A Pitt is a dog that will kill you. When it gets aggressive it's on a whole different level. There is no comparison.

from the article
"According to animal control, reported bites come from a variety of dog breeds. The attacks in the past month do not just include pit bulls but also Labrador retrievers, huskies, bulldogs and chihuahuas, to name a few."

dustin the temperment test is usually done by an impartial group. The pitbull score in the top percentil. And its only a small percentage that bite. Same thing with guns. It only takes one idiot to make the rest look bad.

How many of those other dogs killed somebody? That's what you can't seem to understand.
