Why not? Some of the best blood trackers are labs. I'm only ever going to train a handful of dogs in my life and I want them to be good ones. Blood tracking requires a dog to have both a great nose and a great head on its shoulders. They need to learn quickly and be able to solve puzzles. They need to be able to smell a 24+ hour old track and they need to also be friendly/sociable with the hunters. Labs fit that bill very well from what Ive seen. My only drawback with them is that many of them are really large dogs. I want a medium sized dog for bloodtracking and thats why the picture of the small female perked my interest.

It was nice meeting CNC today, he claimed a puppy. I now have 2 chocolate males and 1 black female available. They will be 6 weeks may 20. Don't miss out on these awesome pups. If anyone wants updated pics shoot me a text.
