My dad and I run a seafood company and we only sell Alabama farm raised catfish and wild caught gulf shrimp from American trawlers. It's tough when the American consumer chooses to eat a China man's feces(basa, tria, pangasia, tilapia) over a grain fed catfish grown in their own state. Until that processed foreign fish, or shrimp, hits the port there are NO contributions to the US tax base. Therefore, it costs twice as much to buy seafood grown/harvested in our own state. Trump may not do a thing about it, but at least it's been addressed.
