My in-laws have a place in PCB (Summerhouse) down on Thomas Drive. It's pretty quiet on that part of the beach. Very nice area.

Thanks for the info guys. I may have to go for the weekend for work and motel it. Just trying to find a secluded place the wife and kids could go accessible to public. we usually go to saint andrews state park when we go. Rosemary beach is pretty expensive, very cool place to stay though, it is nothing like pcb, i feel like new money every time we stay there.

I must be the only person in the world that doesn't think the whole 30A area is Heaven-on-Earth....
that is the most overrated place I've ever visited (Alys Beach/Rosemary Beach, specifically). I guess it might be ok if you could afford one of the ridiculously expensive beachfront houses, but that was the worst beach trip, by FAR, I've ever taken.
Orange Beach blows 30A out of the water, not to mention being significantly cheaper.

I'll have to look at Inlet Beach. We stay near there every year down the road at Carillon Beach.

Mexico beach is ok, but if you're looking for quiet and beautiful, check out the cape. The 2/3 that is closer to the park has prettier water, stuff down near Indian pass has muddy water

However, you won't find a hotel there if that's what you are looking for. Basically houses and townhomes.
