Only happened one time this year for me but it has happened in the past, I don't understand it either. Buddy of mine heard 5 couple weeks ago and said they were all gobbling good and the next day, SILENCE This scenario has happened all spring around my house, on land that is largely if not completely unhunted. I heard 4 - 6 birds Sunday, 1 Monday, and none since. I know they are around, but don't talk much
