Had a couple buddy's who set up on multiple gobbling birds one morning. After a hr and a half of them not budging they slipped to the edge of the field which was property line. That's when they saw them strutting in a pen. They felt like retards for sure. Used to be one at the end of a Truck Trail at Wolf Creek WMA. He suckered in many a hunter. He was in a back yard pen. I know exactly where you are talking about. That's been years ago but he got me and my dad that morning. We split up on him and we finally ended up in the same spot. It did make a memory we each will never forget.
